Heathfield carnival on Saturday 26th June starts at 12:00 noon in the High Street.

If you are in the procession, you need to be at Crown Yard between 12:00 and 12:45pm. (Crown Yard is just past SETyres - by the Battle Road junction).

The procession starts from Crown Yard at 1:00pm, swings out onto the main road towards Tower Street - Mutton Hall Hill, then down through to Heathfield High Street.

The front of the procession will stop at Dream Machines for 10 minutes before moving off again down Mill Road to the Community Centre.

Entries this year include Heathfield Community College Batucada Drumming Troupe, the Wonder Girls, the effervescent Tristar Twirlers, and Heathfield Silver Band leading the way. With the help of Heathfield & Waldron Churches Together Street Pastors keeping it all under control and flowing steadily.

This year we stop in the middle of the high street for ten minutes to be entertained by a well known Belly Dancing troupe - Sheiks Delights. Then moving on to the community centre in sheepsetting lane where the afternoon turns over to an assortment of fayre, games, side shows, and plenty to eat and drink.

We will be awarding three certificates to carnival entrants; best walking float, best vehicle float, and best in procession.

We are holding a raffle with various prizes.
